  • A line of enquiry that articulates your making
  • Contextualising words for example – through layouts and arrangements + making iterations of these arrrangements
  • Consider a dictionary – draw on these references + perhaps in a teaching context
  • Children’s instructional tools as overlapping with political or ideological/ political subjects. For example, ladybird for gown ups
  • Visual forms of language and history of these forms + the role of illustration
  • Pronunciation(s) across the world and how it changes
  • Choose a reference that has depth of content!
