  • Exploring letters as a system – iterating within that system; consider your system and establish ways in which that system can be hacked perhaps
  • Perception of letters and images; interpretation of letters
  • Play around with combinations and pairs with images – different images with the same letters etc.
  • Drawing letters with grids and visual systems – experiment with images
  • Consider methods and positions: personal connect to letterforms; meaning and media being used
  • Perhaps a DIY book – drawing letterforms; iterations as embedded within the book

  • Deconstruction and video as a way of learning
  • Categories of words and foregrounding – make the hidden more visible
  • Perhaps a set of “meta instructions” – set of posters or animation
  • Add more context and descriptions
  • Consider the diary or personal apsects
  • Meaning as changing through visual contexts – dictionary and language as not being fixed, personal – what you’re learning, what is being learnt etc.
